Last night's dinner:

3 lb. chuck roast
Coat with 1 pkg. of au jus mix and 1 pkg. of dry ranch mix
Place one stick of butter on top of roast
Add 6-8 pepperoncini peppers on top

Crock pot, low for 7-8 hours.

Holy crap.

Absolutely. Several guys I worked with in Dallas would question my manhood for cooking in a Crock Pot.

Told them to try it.

They came to the realization that it's a bachelor's dream.

Throw the recipe together the night before, plug it in and turn it on in the morning before going to work, get home from work to a home cooked dinner and the apartment smelling awesome.

I used it for ribs again yesterday. Just simply was not up to smoking them, so threw them in the crock point.  Pretty amazing.

Making pork chops in it tomorrow.

I still haven't brought myself to doing ribs in it.

Pork Chops are amazing. And probably the easiest thing ever. Throw in 2-5 boneless chops, cover in BBQ sauce of your choice (was told to use a half cup of water, too, but I don't). 8 hrs on Low. BAM! So good and so easy!

In fact, I think I may do some chops one day this week. And possibly my Balsamic Chicken, as well (still my favorite recipe).

Took me forever to try the ribs but, out of convenience, I did. They do not disappoint.
